Once again, the sun has taken hold of the construction site this week. And this summer’s “phew, it’s hot” festival is now well under way.
It’s alright for those who have taken time off and can enjoy a few beers in the beer garden, but not for those who are melting in the heat like an ice cream on the airfield.
Although – it’s actually not all that difficult to stay cool during the summer. The key is to drink as much as possible and, as we all know, eat plenty of fruit and vegetables. Alternatively, here’s a rather unusual tip: drop by the BBI construction site. For here, on the observation platform of the 32-metre-high Infotower, you can not only get a fantastic view of the construction site, but feel the constantly cool breeze, too.
You can also keep nice and cool on one of the guided tours of the construction site. See the highlights of the new airport from the comfort of an air-conditioned bus, without breaking out in a sweat. Just give it a try. Tours can be booked by calling +49 30 6091-2250.
