Tegel - the business airport

 

Tegel Airport is Berlin’s busiest airport and Berlin Airports’ financial backbone. With its central location and many attractive destinations, the airport is used by tourists and business travellers alike. In 2010, 15.03 million passengers were handled at the airport, which is a year-on-year increase of 7.4 per cent on 2009. 2010 was the first year that passenger figures rose to above 15 million at the airport.
