We want to ask whether the contract work section “Suspended ceiling, grid material” is included in one of the three lots or whether this will be contracted out separately. If it will be contracted out separately, can you please tell us when the corresponding invitation for bids will issued?

With regard to the query “Suspended ceiling, grid material”, we are acting on the assumption that this means suspended ceiling constructions made of expanded metal.
In this regard, be advised that the actual suspended ceiling constructions will be contracted out in subsequent invitations for bids/tender actions. In the current procedure, among other things, the wall paneling made of expanded metal is described as a partial performance of individual lots. Please note that an application for participation can be submitted only for one or more lots. In other words, application for individual construction services of a sublot is not permitted.

We would like to known whether you really intend to award the services only in these three compact lots or whether it is possible to apply for sublots. As a specialist firm for KAL-ZIP roofing, we are especially interested in these services and would like to apply for these if possible.

An application is possible only for one or more lots in the award procedure. Submission of an application for participation only for partial performances within a lot is not permitted. In other words, an application solely for the partial performance of metal roof constructions is thus not permitted.

In the tender for the “Facades Passenger Terminal” notification published by Berlin Airports, the elevator system is optionally listed for Lot 2.2 and Lot 1. However, as this item is only optionally listed under the facades, I would like to know whether they will be tendered out separately and if so, then when will this happen?

Section II, 2.2) "Options" refers to Lot No. 1 (Installation and Maintenance Platforms for Roofs) and Lot No. 2 (Facade Elevator Systems). This means that the client reserves the right to order the items listed in these lots or to opt for a different solution (e.g. a boom lift). The client does not intend to tender elevator services separately at any time.
